Parent Teacher Organization
Who We Are A volunteer parent-teacher organization dedicated to supporting the educational and recreational needs of the children attending LNFI. The PTO also promotes open communication between the administration, teachers, parents and students. When We Meet PTO Meetings are held the 2nd Thursday of every month from 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. in the Parent Resource Room (Room 1301), which is just to the left of the office when you come in the main doors.  We have an intern available to watch your children during the meeting.  We suggest that a $5 per family donation be made to cover the cost of babysitting but it is not required.  All parents are welcome at these meetings!

What We Do The LNFI PTO supports the school and children through fund-raising activities, social activities and many other special projects. The main activities we coordinate include:

  • Communications - Quoi de Neuf newsletter, Web Site
  • Fundraising - Plant sale, Silent Auction, Read-a-thon, French book fairs
  • Interns
  • Social - Carnaval de Citrouilles,  Classroom pizza parties, Spring Park Cean-up, School Picnic
  • Teacher Appreciation
  • Guest speakers
  • Extracurricular Activities

Get Involved All of these great activities are not accomplished without a lot of parent involvement. We are fortunate to have an amazing group of parents that are willing to help out in many different ways.
