Eat slowly and enjoy the food. 3. Involve children in meal planning and grocery shopping. 4. Don't use food as a reward or punishment. 5. Keep healthy snacks on hand: fresh, frozen or canned fruits and vegetables; frozen fruit-juice bars; low-fat ice cream; fig bars.
