Wanted: PTO-Co-Chairpersons.
The PTO is in need of new leaders. Michelle Greenfield's position is
expiring at the end of this year, and Terri Menke will be leaving the position
at year's end. The PTO-Co-chair oversees the activities of the PTO and keeps
everything running smoothly. In addition to running the monthly meetings, the
Co-chair needs to stimulate participation from the parent community. Newcomers
as well as long-time parents are all welcome to get involved! Please contact

Social Chair: The social chair coordinates the pizza parties and other social events at L'Etoile du Nord. A binder of resources will make the social chair's job much easier this year than in years past. No volunteer, no social events :-(
Communications Chair: The communications chair works with L'Etoile du Nord publications. The PTO has volunteers in place to write the newsletter, the school directory, and volunteer webmaster. The communications chair will work with these volunteers and look for additional ways to improve communication throughout the school.
Volunteer Chair: The volunteer chair works to mobilize parent volunteers for classrooms, and for L'Etoile du Nord Events. This position is vital to every school and is a good resume builder.
