Library Day: Fridays

Important Dates:

Early Release
This Wednesday is an early release day. School ends at 1:45pm.

Let It Snow!
We will be going out to recess every day this winter unless it is below zero. When there is snow on the ground, your child will need to bring and wear boots, snowpants, a warm jacket, mittens/gloves and a hat each day in order to go outside. Please label these items!

Le Loup: School Store
Our school store, Le Loup, is open! Students in our class may bring money to go every other week around 3:00.  The school store sells things like pencils, erasers, and stickers. In order to go to the Loup, students must bring money in an envelope or bag marked with their name and “Le Loup/School Store.” Students who bring in money without this label will not be allowed to go (I want to make sure they have your permission to spend money they bring in!) Our next date to go is Friday, Nov. 4th.

Please welcome….
Mme Halina Solakhava, who will be the long-term sub while I am on maternity leave. begin full-time on Tuesday, Dec. 1. My last day will be on Monday, Nov. 30 (unless the baby is born early!) Thank you for all your well-wishes and support!

Winners will be entered in the Pacer Center Poem Contest. Submit your entry with your name, grade, and teacher’s name. Entries are due by December 14th.
