| | | | | Homework Expectations | | Math Homework
There are daily math homework. There may be some exceptions, if a lesson lasts longer, or if we have a math test. That day, there would not be any math homework.
Reading
Students are expected to read at least 30 minutes per day. They should fill out their reading log every time they finish a book. There is also a Response to Literature piece in which students must write a response to what they read. Different formats will be taught/review in class. Students may write their Responses either in their Reading Notebook.
Spelling words
Every week, students will work on a different spelling list (you can see the lists on your child's communication folder). There will be a spelling test (une dictée) every week. Here's the link to the spelling lists:
POLICY
Homework is due the following day (except when specified). Students who have incomplete homework will be required to stay in for recess on Friday to finish their assignments.
