It has been an exciting first week of school for me getting to know new staff, parents, and students here at L’Etoile du Nord. I am very happy to be a part of such a great school and look forward to meeting all of you.
My love for French language and culture began in high school and lead me to earn a B.A. degree in French from St. Olaf College. During my college experience, I had the opportunity to study abroad in Aix-en-Provence, France and Dakar, Senegal. After graduating, I took a bilingual Teacher Assistant position on the island of Réunion where I taught English for one year. Upon my return I have worked in St. Paul Public Schools for the last two years as a Teacher Assistant while earning my elementary teaching license from Hamline University.
Today, I
look forward to the new challenge of teaching at L'Etoile du Nord, and
I welcome the opportunity to work with a dynamic group of students and
parents.
